Testemony presented by the Pastors Vanderley Campos Borges and João Batista Miranda, respectively from Assembly of God and Baptist Churchs, in the city of Cafarnaum, State of Bahia/Brazil@JUNE/2005

@Visiting the city of Cafarnaum, in the state of Bahia/Brazil, for the first time, in December, last year, the Apostle Ernie Shimomura preached the word of God our Father for three days, in several churches of that city, where the Spirit of God moved and divine healings and signs of wonders took place.

@In the last day, however, December 12, 2004, when he preached for more than 350 people in the Assembly of God Church, spoke about the drought that was so hard in the city and the whole region, where it didn't rain for more than two years and he also said that the Church of Jesus Christ was the main responsible for such calamity and cursing, refering to the 28th chapter of Deuteronomy, which is related to promises of blessings for obedience and cursing for disobedience, empathizing verse 12, in relation to the rain in the due season. But in the beginning of the preaching the Apostle Ernie gave an umbrella to the President of the Assemblies of God of Cafarnaum and of others surrounding cities, Pastor Vanderley, and in a prophetic way told him that he was going to use it very soon, for the rains certainly would fall heavily in that city. Of course for many present unbelievers, this act of faith seemed to be an irony, but, that night, the Spirit of the Lord operated great signs and wonders in that church and everyone believed and kept waiting for the fulfillment of the prophecy concerning the rain in abundance.

@Two weeks later the heavenly doors were opened and it rained a lot in Cafarnaum and in all the surrounding cities, and until the present day it is still raining in abundance. Praised be God our Father! This testimony was presented by Pastors João Batista Miranda and Vanderley Campos Borges, of Baptist and Assembly of God Churchs, and also by several people that confirmed this miracle in behalf of many which were starving to death because, without rain, they could not have the crops, but now, everything that has been planted grows and,bear fruits and income for the support of everybody's family.
